Othello
Othello by William Shakespeare, adapted and directed by Mark Oldknow, is being be performed at the Broadway Studio Theatre, Catford. The run began on the 7th February and continues until the 4th March. We were invited by Fer'vent Theatre to present this timeless classic in our usual accessible style. Wuthering Heights
Wuthering Heights
by Emily Brontë is to be performed at the Wycombe Swan Town Hall in March.
This renowned story, adapted by Jane Thornton - co-author of
Shakers Re-stirred,
is to be directed by Mark Oldknow.
Expect it to get the Tight Fit Theatre treatment.
Bring a hankie.
June 2006: Talking Heads
Three Talking Heads by Alan Bennett are to be performed at the Swan Town Hall in June.The final selection will be announced soon.
Our previous Talking Heads in 1999 was described by three papers as
“A great night of quality drama by three talented ladies ”,
“An engrossing evening ”, and
“A close to perfect blend of comedy and drama ”.
December 2005: Jack and the Beanstalk
Well, I hope everyone has recovered from the panto, especially the nice lady who didn't duck when Widow Trot was flinging sweets into the audience. Oops. It so difficult to find soft, wrapped, sweets. The production photographs and the stop-frame animation of the get-in are now accessible from the show's web page. The Bucks Free Press said “this panto was sharp, rewarding and looked fantastic”.
Next year we will be doing ... another panto!
Murder Mysteries
Our Murder Mysteries The Nineteenth Hell and An Act of Murder have been putting in appearances for school PTAs, golf clubs and community centres helping them all raise funds through a great evening's entertainment. There are still dates available in 2006. Please contact us to satisfy the detective in you.
Renowned for our productions since 1996 and resident at the Wycombe Swan since 2000, Tight Fit Theatre is a professional theatre company who also provide training, project management, and technical expertise.
We don't ask for donations to support our work but if you buy something from one of our affiliates, we benefit and you pay the usual price.
